Faced with moving from our home of 30 years to a much smaller home in a retirement community, we knew we needed help. Luckily, we found Anna, who has been our guide and helper every step of the way. On top of that, Anna personally found specialty buyers for our jewelry and coin collection, as well as people to take some of our larger hard-to-get-rid-of pieces of furniture. It is hard to imagine making our move from a six bedroom home that we lived in for over 39 years to a two bedroom condo over 500 miles away without the help of Anna Novack! From our first telephone meeting, she provided a road map on how to proceed, including helping us decide which furnishings and personal belongings we would want/need in our new home.

Although we had already done some preliminary downsizing, , Anna helped us find the areas we needed to concentrate on. She got us in touch with a dealer who appraised and bought some silver and jewelry and she suggested places to donate housewares and clothing that were in good condition. Most importantly, she introduced us to a floor planner who helped us visualize and map out where to put the furniture in this much smaller space. Additionally, Anna introduced us to a mover who facilitated our multi-destination move – and it all went without a hitch.

We met with Anna in person several times and she was always available for phone or email questions. Particularly helpful was the summary we received after each meeting. It really kept us on track in the weeks leading up to the move and gave us an already in place “to-do” list.

On the day of the day of the move, Anna came over to help manage the moving process and answer any last minute questions. It was wonderful to have such a calming presence with us at that time. After the moving van left and we began our journey, Anna oversaw both the junk removal team and the cleaners she had recommended, so we knew the turnover of the house to the new owners was in excellent hands.
